Course Overview and Objectives

Animal Behavior should not be a course in which students survey all aspects of behavior known today.  To attempt to cover all there is to know in one semester is meaningless, if not impossible.  The material we will study consists of selected concepts comprising the study of animal behavior.  The goal of this course is to examine the processes and concepts that underlie behavior;  to address some questions that researchers ask about animal behavior, and examine the methods they use to answer these questions.
