Anopheles walkeri is distinguished by the pale apical rings on the segments of its maxillary palps.
 
 

Notice that both the walkeri and the quadrimaculatus wings both have dark scaled spots, but the quadrimaculatus spots are more pronounced than those of the walkeri.
