The Oak Lake
Field Station is open to the public 365 days per year. Most activity at the
field station occurs during the period April through October due to severe
winter weather conditions. Individual groups may reserve the entire facility or
individual buildings at the site (Reservations ). Canoes may be
rented to permit exploration of the
There is no
charge for day use of station grounds. Advance reservations are required
for use of buildings, canoes and overnight accommodations. Fees are
charged for these services (see below). No hunting, off-road driving or
unauthorized collecting allowed on station grounds. Individuals or groups
wishing to use station or its facilities should contact the Department of Biology and
Microbiology.
