The Oak Lake Field Station is located 22 miles northeast of the SDSU
Campus in Brookings County, South Dakota. Leaving Brookings, follow Interstate
29 north to the White exit (7 miles). Travel east on County Highway 30
to White, SD (5 miles). Turn north on County Highway 25 and travel to County
Highway 44 (3.5 miles). Travel 6.2 miles on County Highway 44 to a point
where the paved road curves to the east, leaving a northbound gravel road.
At this point, continue traveling North on the gravel road for 0.5 miles.
The driveway and sign for the Field Station will appear on the right side
of the road. Go to the Caretaker's residence for assistance with checking-in.
