Center for Biocomplexity Studies Director Carol Johnston has brought
Federal grants totaling $586,000 into South Dakota to support her research
on wetlands. The money has been used to create four new jobs, funding two
Graduate Research Assistants, a Postdoctoral Research Associate, and a
Research Associate. The grants are from the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency’s Science to Achieve Results (STAR)
program and NASA, and support three different projects.
