Andropogon gerardii
Andropogon gerardii is a(n) annual herb, which grows .5 to 2 m in height. This species is commonly found growing in prairies, pastures, and roadsides throughout the Great Plains. The leaves are soft-textured and flat (3-9 mm wide). Andropogon gerardii has yellowish flowers that bloom from July to September.
