Acorus calamus
Acorus calamus is a(n) perennial herb, which grows .9 to 1.5 m in height. This species is commonly found growing in swamps and marshes. The leaves are ensiform, erect and linear. Acorus calamus has light brown flowers that bloom from May to June.
