of bats throughout the Northern Lesser Antilles since 1989.

Pedersen has been conducting research concerning the
functional
anatomy of bats since 1988. Pedersen has also been involved
in studies concerning the distribution of
bats throughout South Dakota since 1999.

Pedersen is a military aviation historian whose current research
efforts in the National Archives (DC) concern the development
of first radar-guided missile
used by the USN: the ASM-N-2 BAT Glide-bomb.
